"Stress Free" Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Classes in Miami Dade

Course Overview
Welcome to the ACLS course taught in a manner that has been recognized by professionals as the best approach to learning. From Nursing Unlimited’s library, an interactive curriculum combined with a multimedia presentation produces a dynamic and pleasing learning environment. With our state of the art equipment and diversified faculty, Nursing Unlimited’s ACLS course is what other institutions strive to emulate. This course is approved by and meets all the behavioral objectives prescribed by the American Heart Association for ACLS. Nursing Unlimited prides itself on our “Stress Free” approach to training. You learn what you need to know in a manner that is conducive to learning in a non-threatening atmosphere that promotes understanding of material. No wonder this is one of our most popular courses, with our staff consistently receiving outstanding evaluations.

Course Prerequisite:
Occupation as a healthcare provider.

Nursing Unlimited has successfully integrated the AHA 2005 Guidelines into the ACLS Provider Course that has proven so popular since 1994. This course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. The goal of the ACLS provider course is to improve the quality of care provided to the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergency. The manner in which Nursing Unlimited encourages and helps adult learners to achieve this objective has remained unchanged. What have changed are the treatment guidelines and the course materials, as well as the course agenda. We trust you will find the updated course just as enjoyable and rewarding as you did in the past.

  • How are you on EKG interpretation?
  • Do you know your ACLS algorithms?
  • Are you one of the many EKG sensitive professionals?
  • First time taking ACLS?

The course fee is $200 for 12 contact hours and includes a copy of the ACLS Provider Manual (from Nursing Unlimited's Library) and  Study Guide.

If you are well versed in ACLS protocols, you have the option of attending the first 8 hours of any class for testing only.  A current ACLS Provider Card is  required.  The fee is $140 for 8 Contact Hours.

If you are not practicing ACLS as a regular part of your professional role in your healthcare facility it is recommended that you take the entire course.

Please remember to include $5.00 for shipping and handling.

BLS for Healthcare Providers is no longer a prerequisite for entry into the ACLS program.
The AHA requires "BLS SKILLS".
However, if your BLS card is expired or about to expire and you wish to renew, we still offer it within the ACLS course for a discounted price of $25.
