Wound Care Update

COURSE OVERVIEW

Recent changes in Medicare policies that limit reimbursements for Hospital Acquired Conditions (HACs) in acute care hospitals and healthcare facilities have enhanced the need for proper education and training for healthcare providers.  Stage III and Stage IV pressure ulcers have been added to the list of Preventable Hospital Acquired Conditions no longer being reimbursed.  Proper Wound Care management and application of evidenced-based guidelines is essential to promote patient health and help protect facilities and healthcare professionals from costly claims and litigation.  Nursing Unlimited Wound Care Update class provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge to identify prevent and treat pressure ulcers using the most recent standards of care.  Proper care of Ostomies is also included.  Come join us for an informative multimedia presentation and skills demonstration using Nursing Unlimited’s proven methodology for “Stress Free” education.
